The venue

The Eye of the Storm takes place at Villa Amatista, a beautiful retreat centre on Lanzarote. This luxurious and tranquil haven is set in the unspoilt countryside and vineyards of La Geria Natural Park. Amatista has a harmonious and peaceful atmosphere that supports inner and outer transformation. The venue is secluded and we have the place to ourselves for the nine days of the retreat.

Each couple or triad has their own cottage, villa or room with en suite bathroom. Some of the villas are ideal for triads, while others suit couples better - we'll make sure that your accommodation is comfortable and well suited to your needs.

The layout of the Villa means that you can spend time with the other members of the group when you feel like it and retreat to your private space when you want some privacy. We feel excited to be living with you in this beautiful place for nine days, soaking up the sunshine and supporting you to dive into fierce intimacy together.

The retreat is fully catered, with

Lanzarote is a beautiful island in the Atlantic Ocean, off the coast of Africa. It's the easternmost of the Canary Islands.

Lanzarote enjoys a mild dry climate all year round and June is one of the best times to visit, with average daytime temperatures of around 23°C - pleasantly warm but not unbearably hot.

Lanzarote is Volcanic in origin. Due to eruptions during the 18th and 19th Centuries, many parts of Lanzarote appear to be from another world, often described as 'lunar' or 'Martian'. The dry climate (and lack of erosion) means that the Volcanic Landscape appears much as it did just after the eruptions.

Amongst the many stunning Volcanic features of Lanzarote is the longest Volcanic Tunnel in the world, the Atlantida Tunnel, which is over 7 km long and includes the La Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos del Agua.

We'll be inland but Lanzarote has several beautiful white beaches, including Playa Blanca, Papagayo and Caleton Blanco. There'll be a day off in the middle of the retreat to explore the island, and you may choose to extend your stay to enjoy the island for a few days before or after The Eye of the Storm.
